Welcome to the experimental version  of online mathematical symbol recognition system!

The system has been trained on the data set containing these symbols only: 0-9, a-z, sigma, sqrt, hline, integral, <, >, (, ), {, }, else, check, +, not equal to

The system was trained on the "training1" subset of the data set obtained from Microsoft Center for Research on Pen-Centric Computing at Brown University. We are thankful to the research group for allowing us to use the data set.

Requirements: JRE 1.5 or higher is required to run the applet. It can be downloaded from here if you don't have one.
