Toric Regularity

Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity is an important invariant bounding the complexity of a polynomial ideal. I will describe a proposed extension of this definition to ideals in multigraded polynomial rings, and some algorithmic implications. This is joint work with Greg Smith (Barnard).
