We have arranged for special ISSAC 2001 rates at the Station Park Inn, a
luxurious all-suite hotel located in London's premier downtown location.
Rooms have also been set aside for ISSAC 2001 delegates at Alumni House, an
on-campus residence.
You are responsible for booking your accommodation. Accommodation rates are
not included in conference registration fees. All rates are quoted in
Canadian dollars.
In order to qualify for the ISSAC 2001 rates and to ensure availability, you
must book your accommodation at the Station Park Inn by June 24th, or
Alumni House by May 27. After these dates, space and rates are not
guaranteed. Please
contact each location directly for rates, availability and reservations.
StationPark Inn
The Station Park Inn is a luxurious all-suite hotel, ideally located in
downtown London's premier business district - Richmond Row. A vast selection
of exclusive shops, unique dining possibilities and a variety of
entertainment options are yours to explore, all within steps of the hotel.
Each of the hotel's suites provides an abundance of space in which to work,
entertain and relax in luxurious comfort. The suites are superbly appointed,
each featuring a separate bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room with
pull-out sofa bed and standard amenities such as wet bar, coffee maker,
mini-bar, two televisions, three telephones (PC and fax compatible, with
voice mail) and much more. The hotel also features a fully equipped exercise
room, whirlpool and sauna. Easily accessible from inside the hotel lobby,
Oscar Taylor's Steakhouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their
dinner specialties include steak, fresh seafood and fabulous pasta dishes.
TJ Baxter's Varsity Grill is a roadhouse-style eatery serving lunch, dinner
and late-night appetizers. Enjoy patio service at both restaurants.
The Station Park Inn has easy public transit access to the University. A
morning and evening complimentary shuttle service for ISSAC 2001 delegates
between the Station Park Inn and the conference location at the University
is tentatively being arranged.
Rate: $109.00 per suite, per night + 12% tax.
In order to take advantage of this discounted rate, you must reserve your
room by June 24, 2001 (deadline extended!). After this date,
rooms are $145.00 per night and availability is not
guaranteed. Each suite can sleep up to 4 adults at no additional charge.
When booking your room, you must quote the Conference Name (ISSAC 2001) or
the Group Number (64058) in order to qualify for the discounted ISSAC 2001
rate.

Alumni House Residence
Alumni House is a modern, air-conditioned student residence situated at the
corner of University Drive and Richmond Street on campus. Conveniently
located on the bus line, you will only be a 10-minute bus ride from downtown
London. Residence rooms have single beds and are situated in suites with
four bedrooms. Each suite of 4 bedrooms has a shared kitchen, bathroom and
sitting room. Kitchens feature full-size stoves and refrigerators (dishes
not provided). Enjoy a daily complimentary cold breakfast. Alumni House is a
five-minute walk to the conference location.
Rate: $35.00 per room, per night + 12% tax (single occupancy).
In order to take ensure availability, you must reserve your room by May 27,
2001. After this date, rates and availability are not guaranteed. Please
note that you will be booked into a suite with 3 other individuals (each
with you own private bedroom, but shared kitchen, bathroom and sitting
room). Please also note that there are no shops, restaurants or bars near
the residence. These are located in downtown London (approximately 10
minutes by bus from Alumni House). Your room booking includes a daily
complimentary cold breakfast.
